The Managed node contains all the MicroStation workspace configuration settings blocks defined in the datasource, categorized by level. A configuration settings block is essentially a MicroStation configuration variable and its corresponding values. You can create these manually in ProjectWise, or you can import existing workspace data using the Workspace Import Wizard.

Right-click the Managed node and select:

• Import Managed Workspace — to import your entire workspace into ProjectWise to be completely managed by ProjectWise.
• ProjectWise Export Tool — to export datasource data including configuration settings blocks. The wizard that opens is delivered with both ProjectWise Administrator and ProjectWise Explorer, and may also be available from the Windows Start menu (if ProjectWise Explorer is installed). • ProjectWise Import Tool — to import previously exported datasource data, including configuration settings blocks. The wizard that opens is delivered with both ProjectWise Administrator and ProjectWise Explorer, and may also be available from the Windows Start menu (if ProjectWise Explorer is installed). See “Importing Exported Datasource Data” in the ProjectWise Explorer help for details.

Right-click any one of the levels and select New > Configuration Settings Block to manually create individual configuration settings blocks for each level.
